The creation of Clockwork Watchman armor was long considered to be impossible. The parts necessary are small even by normal tinkering standards, and the modules required were far too complex. Little did we know that the Pirates of Iceclad had worked out all of the details, utilizing various resources on Velious and implementing their incredibly efficient mana batteries.

Now, instead of impossible, it's just incredibly difficult.

Armor of the Clockwork Watchman

While the method of construction for each piece of armor is made clear in the book of diagrams, the exact level of difficulty is unknown. For now, we simply know that these pieces of armor represent the pinnacle of tinkering achievement and even a master tinker will be challenged. The Deluxe Toolbox available from the Pirates of Iceclad is required. Each piece of armor is based around a corresponding piece of fine steel armor, which must be both gnome-sized and unstained. If a component is listed more than once, more than one is required – be sure not to stack them.

Many of the armor pieces have a magical effect with a number of charges. When the charges have been used up, just pull out your Deluxe Toolbox and add another Class Five Mana Battery to the depleted piece (the old batteries crumble to dust when their last charge is used). This should recharge the item.

Even though the Watchman armor is unavailable to the necromancer, it will prove quite useful for our trusted gnome warriors and clerics who join us in our conquest of the known world.
