After Harmshield had repeatedly saved my wee body from being slashed, bashed, and pierced, I began to wonder what else it might protect me from. Oddly enough, no one I talked to could answer a simple but interesting question: Does Harmshield protect you from falling damage?

When I next passed through East Karana, I decided to find out for myself.

(Note: I am a professional necromancer. Kids, don't try this at home.)

How Good Is It?

	Before going any further with this crazy idea, it seems like a good idea to Bind Affinity at the top of the ramp.
My good friend Amelia stands by to pick up the pieces.
	This should be a long enough drop to give the spell a proper test.
Harmshield is cast!
	Too late to turn back now.
I look down. Never look down.
	Amelia, of course, has been levitating this entire time and is laughing at me.
When you're falling, a few seconds is an amazingly long time.
	The very last thing you see on the way down.
The sad results.
	Let us have a moment of silence.
Just kidding! (They always fall for the ol' Feign Death trick!) Alive and well at the bottom, with only a minor scratch. And the robes are still clean!

And so I determine the answer to my question: Yes! Harmshield will protect you from a ridiculous amount of falling damage. This will no doubt prove to be useful later, aside from the sheer entertainment value. ("I know a shortcut. Follow me. Of course it's safe....")

I wonder if it keeps you safe from lava....
